PAC For A Change:
Celebrating Our Ten Year Anniversary!
Our PAC for a Change community has worked hard for the past decade to grow our base, advocate for progressive values, and expand the map so we can support Democratic candidates across the country. I'm so proud of what we've accomplished, and below you'll find a glimpse into what we've achieved together.
We launched our PAC for a Change online community with a membership of 40,317 people in the summer of 2004 -- now, as of Spring 2008 more than 300,000 people have joined us to stand for what we believe in, including an end to the war in Iraq, cleaning up the environment, and protecting our civil liberties.

Over the past ten years, our PAC for a Change community has raised over $4 million for progressive candidates all over the nation -- including contributions our PAC has made to candidates as well as donations that friends like you have made directly to PAC-endorsed candidates -- propelling many of them to victory.
In 2006 alone, we raised over a million dollars for dozens of Democratic candidates, from Vermont to Washington to Minnesota.Below are our top ten fundraising drives in the 2006 election cycle for progressive leaders:

Because you have helped us spread the word about our community, PAC for a Change has an enormous impact when we push for progressive values. Our PAC for a Change community has sent one million emails to Senators, the Bush Administration, and other elected officials to advocating for an end the war in Iraq, cleaning up our environment, or stopping the Bush Administration from eavesdropping on our citizens. Below, you can take a look at just a few of our successful advocacy campaigns over the years:
November 2006: After Election Day in 2006, a day when the American people spoke out loud and a clear for change, you helped garner support around my petition urging President Bush to begin withdrawing our troops from Iraq. Over 34,000 people signed our petition and helped recruit hundreds of new people to our community.
July 2005: Over 100,000 of you signed my petition urging President Bush to send a clear message that we do not intend to remain in Iraq indefinitely or maintain permanent bases there.
January 2005: Nearly 100,000 of you signed my petition holding Condoleezza Rice accountable for her misleading statements leading up to the Iraq war. Your support emboldened me to ask her tough questions during a Foreign Relations Committee hearing about the Bush Administration's lies leading up to the invasion of Iraq, and helped recruit 60,000 new members to our community.
