Ammar Campa-Najjar was born in San Diego County, raised in his mother’s church, and first worked as a church janitor. He has owned a business and worked for the Department of Labor on behalf of working people. His aim is to go to Washington and work with both parties to improve the lives of working people, help them with affordable health care, and protect women’s rights. Yet his opponent paints him as a terrorist. This same opponent, Duncan Hunter, has been indicted on 60 counts of violating election laws, including spending campaign funds to buy video games, fly the family bunny across the country, and pay for private school tuition. The same Duncan Hunter claimed that he didn’t violate the law – his wife did. If integrity is ever to be restored to CA-50, Ammar Campa-Najjar is the candidate we should turn to.
